Remove the old driver from Device Manager.
Click on Start / Settings / Control Panel.
Then double click on System
Then click on Device Manager
Then double click on Sound, video and games controllers
Highlight any line that says Hauppauge WinTV and then click Remove.
There might be two Hauppauge WinTV drivers. Delete both.

Locate and delete the Driver files for the WinTV:
Click on the Start button, then Find and Files or Folders.
In the Find: Files menu, under Named type DRV*.*
Leave the Containing text line blank.
Under Look in type in C:\WINDOWS\INF.
Then click Find Now.
You should see the following files. Delete the DRVDATA.BIN and DRVIDX.BIN by
highlighting them and then clicking on the Del key on your keyboard.

Locate and delete the INF file for the WinTV:
Under Named type *.INF
Under Containing text type 109E.
Note: Under Windows95, the Containing Text item is sometimes found in the Advanced tab.
Under Look in it should say C:\WINDOWS\INF.
Then click Find now.
You should see the following files.
Note: If no files are found, your Windows system is set to hide this type of file.
To unhide it so it can be deleted, click here for instructions.

Delete all that are found by highlighting them and then clicking on the Del key on your keyboard.

Now you can reboot your PC, and start a new WinTV driver installation.
