Unhiding files when searching for WinTV drivers
Open up Windows Explorer. If you cannot see the Windows Explorer icon, click on Start / Run and in the Open box type Explorer.
Click on View / Folder Options then click on the View tab.

Make sure Show all files is clicked.
Make sure Hide file extensions .. is UNCLICKED.

Your Folder Options setup should look like the following. And click OK.
