Instructions for running WinTV under WindowsNT/Windows2000
To run WinTV on your WindowsNT 4.0 or Windows2000 system, you need to:

Download and install the WinTV Video Capture Driver for WindowsNT.
This driver supports the WinTV applications, plus any applications that require a Video for Windows capture driver.

Download and install the WinTV applications.
These include the WinTV32, WinTV-snapshot and WinTV-radio applications.

WinTV for Windows NT and Windows2000 Latest Applications and Drivers

Note: the operation of WinTV under Windows requires two pieces: a WinTV driver and a WinTV application. You cannot run the application without loading the driver.

Latest Video Capture Driver

Note: the operation of WinTV under WindowsNT and Windows2000 requires two pieces: a WinTV driver and a WinTV application (the WinTV application is available below in "Latest WinTV Application" section). You cannot run the application without loading the driver.

To install, download to a temporary directory and run W2KDRV311.EXE
The WinTV video capture driver has been tested with programs requiring a Microsoft AVI capture driver, including Microsoft NetMeeting 2.1, Microsoft NetShow and U-Lead MediaStudio.
In addition to supporting AVI capture, this driver now supports the Hauppauge WinTV32 and WinTV2000 applications, SnapShot and Radio applications.

Latest WinTV Applications

Note: the operation of WinTV under WindowsNT and Windows2000 requires two pieces: a WinTV driver (the WinTV driver is above in "Latest Video Capture Driver" section) and a WinTV application. You cannot run the application without loading the driver.

WinTV2000 application version 4.0

To install, copy this file to a temporary directory on your local disk. Then run wintv2k40_21126.exe, which is the installation program for the WinTV application.
New features: This version now includes integrated video clip and hi-resolution still image capture.
New features: This version now includes the WinTV32 and WinTV2000 applications.
Note: This application will run under Windows95, Windows98, Windows2000, WIndows XP and WindowsNT 4.0 with the appropriate driver.
Note: This version requires WinTV Driver for WindowsNT/Windows2000 version 3.11 or later (see above).

To Install:

Download this file (wintv2k40_21126.exe) and save it to a directory you will remember (for example: C:\)
Run wintv2k40_21126.exe. This will unpack the driver and start the driver installation.

WinTV Radio application

WinTV Radio32 application version 1.54

Note: this application runs on WinTV boards equipped with FM radio.

To install, download to a temporary directory and run RADIO32.EXE
New features include 30 presets and local/distance reception. Also, name radio stations by creating a preset and then clicking on the freq display and typing in the string you want.
