This is a special offer for WinTV owners only. Get a high quality Hauppauge Color video camera for only $99.- (the regular price is $189.-). The Hauppauge Color video camera is great for desktop video conferencing, still frame image capture or for making digital video movies (AVI movies).

Why are we running this offer?

This special offer is an incentive to get more of our WinTV owners to register with us. Currently, less than 10% of all WinTV owners send in their warranty registration cards.

How do you find your WinTV serial number?
On the PCI WinTV boards, the serial number can be found by looking at the Hauppauge WinTV properties in DeviceManager: right click on MyComputer, then Properties and then DeviceManager. Double click on Sound,Video and Game controllers, then double click on Hauppauge Win/TV.

Click on Details and you will find the serial number at the top of the screen, just below the model number. On all other WinTV boards, the serial number can be found on the WinTV board itself. Look on the TV tuner label, and you will see a six digit number printed on the label. When in doubt, send us all the printed information on TV tuner label.

How much does the camera cost?

Under this limited time, special offer, you can get a Hauppauge Color camera for $99.- plus shipping costs. Shipping charges will be billed based on where you are located around the world.
PAL cameras will be shipped from our warehouse in Germany. Shipping and VAT charges in Europe are approximately $30.-
NTSC cameras will be shipped from our warehouse in the U.S.

Which camera can I get?
You can choose a color camera for the NTSC or PAL formats.
NTSC is the video format used in North America, South America, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. A picture of the NTSC camera is above. The NTSC cameras come with a 3 ft. video cable and a power adapter which plugs into the keyboard (two adapters are included, one for the "AT" style keyboard connector and one for the "PS/2" style keyboard connector).

PAL is used in Europe and Hong Kong. A picture of the PAL camera is above. The PAL camera comes with a 1 meter video cable and a wall power adapter. There are two types of power adapters supplied: one with a power plug common in Germany and one with a fused power cable for use in the U.K.

How to order

If you have already sent your WinTV warranty registration card to Hauppauge, then you can simply call or e-mail us with your:
  • shipping address,
  • WinTV board serial number and
  • payment information,
and a Hauppauge color camera will be off to you within 1 to 2 days.
