Sometimes when installing the Intel Intercast Viewer, you will get an error message stating a Jet file is in use. Though the source of this error message is still unknown, there is a way to "work around" this error and correctly install the Intercast Viewer.
This document describes how to install the Intercast Viewer when you get the Jet file error message.
Step 1: Look for the Intercast Setup program |

Click on the Windows95 Start button, then click on Run Click on Browse to find the Hauppauge CD-ROM (or type in the drive letter of the CD-ROM). |

Step 2: Run the Intercast Setup program |

Then type:
For example, if your CD-ROM drive is D:, type: d:\intrcast\setup forceinstall This will add the forceinstall option to the Intercast Setup program. |

Click OK to start the installation. The installation should now proceed without the Jet file error message. |
